, More Pretties from Thrifting & Yard Sales

I just adore this little cup ~ the colors in it ~ the robin's egg blue band around it, with the pink roses within.... The lace panel was also a find, as was the pretty pink rose sheet in the background.

A vintage powder tin.... dh is going to put a shelf above the bathroom window for such pretties..... oh and some pretty blue floral ribbon......
The other tin is an old candy one ~ almost too far gone, but not quite!

There are six of the little Homer Laughlin plates, and the fabric they are on is one of the pretty finds I purchased from Amy at Four Sisters in a Cottage.
Mini Tea Set ~ this was in the bin at Goodwill, hadn't even been unloaded onto the shelves yet, when I spotted it and scooped it up. I like the little scene on it.

Can you believe this still isn't all? I found a great old blue window and a rusty old planter ~ but haven't taken pics of them yet ~ will share when I do!!

Hope you have a lovely weekend!

Hi Becca, thanks for stopping by the blog...I went out for an antique fix this afternoon and found the prettiest robins egg blue teacup & saucer almost like the one in your photo. If I wasn't so crazy about sage green, I could easily turn everything robins egg blue in my home...I love your blog. :) Toni

And I am looking forward to seening your rusty old planter. Oh yes, please take some pictures. I have no real clue what it - but everythiing "rusty" sounds intersesting!

Have a wonderful week-end, too!

Warmest wishes from Germany,

Becca, lovely treasures! The last time we all got together for lunch with my aunt, we went to the antique shops in that area and there was a table beautifully set with just that china. I remember the pretty band of blue and the roses. It looked so vintage and so pretty. I think the price was $115.00. That day I bought two old issues of Victoria, three pretty fabric napkins and a pretty handkerchief. Love seeing the pretty and romantic pictures of your finds.

You found such pretty things! That teacup...just makes me sigh and wonder why they don't make such lovely things these days. The person who made it not only wanted it to be pretty on the outside...but on the inside, too.

Thanks for jarring a memory I had forgotten about!
