Bringing little touches of Easter into my decor ~ seeing as how it's now less than a month away.

I splurged and bought these little Reese's Easter Eggs. They are yummy!

I placed them in my green depression glass jar ......

.... and am trusting this little guy to guard them. I don't know ~~
would you trust this face?

Hello!!
When I shared our bathroom photos recently, many of you commented on the vintage talc display above the window, so today I thought I'd share some close-ups of my vintage talc collection.

I really like the way they made the containers so pretty.

This one above, with the brighter roses, is one of my favorites. It reminds me of old seed packets.

Although these are for display only, I also have quite a few "new" bath&body products. I have joked that I could open my own bath&body shop with all the gels, powders and lotions I have; I just love *smell-goody* things!
Thanks for stopping by; hope you are having a lovely week! :)
P.S. Thanks for all the nice comments on my little bird's nest painting in the last post; I am happy to share that it sold and is now on its way to its new home!

Tiny Little Bird's Nest Painting

I had some little plastic frames with pictures printed on fabric within them. They didn't really "go" with my house (see small photo at left), so what to do with them? I decided to paint the frame and fabric pink, and then paint a little bird's nest on it. Then I took the word's "Bird's Nest" from a vintage book, and added them above the nest.

Blue sheer ribbon for hanging finished off the project.
(Karla gave a great tutorial for painting bird's nest, if you'd like to give it a try yourself! If not, this one's available in my Lollishops. :)

Thanks for all the lovely comments on our frou-frou bathroom. To answer your questions, yes hubby is allowed to use it!! He is really great about putting up with all my pretties. As for the robin's egg soap, I got that on our trip to CO last year ~ we were tight on space, so I was buying small things to bring back!
Some of you mentioned you'd just want to stay in that bathroom and relax ~ let me tell you a little secret...... If no one else is around, I can leave the bathroom door open, and you can see the bedroom fireplace from the bathtub ~ so you can have a bubble bath and enjoy the fireplace at the same time!! It is heavenly!!
