~Another 127 Find~

Cute pink "couple" vase ~ aren't they sweet? The vase is a "tree trunk" that has a little heart "carved" in it!
I brought some flowers in from the yard ~ mostly wildflowers ~ it seemed appropriate!

Kate thanks you for the kind comments in the previous post :)
Lots more WLYS finds yet to come!!

Hi! I'm Kleanser Kate!
Becca brought me home from the World's Longest Yard Sale...... I must admit, I was a little nervous, because my new home needed to co-ordinate with my clothing.... I only have the one outfit, you know.....

Hmmm, what's this? Cute little cottages in the background? Pink and blue scrubby pads? A vintage blue dish drainer? I remember things like this from long ago..... This is not a modern kitchen at all!! Whew!!
I think I'm going to feel right at home here......
Oh, by the way, Becca says to come back soon to see more of what she brought home.... none as pretty as I am, of course, but..... do stop back by!

127 Sale
We are back from the World's Longest Yard Sale!! Here are some highlights: (next post will be all the pretty treasures I found ~ and believe me, I found ALOT! :)

Goodies galore -- nestled among shade trees, a little bit of heaven in the heat.....This sale was next to a cute little barn shoppe. One little area was even cottage style!

This was a little vignette outside their shoppe. So cute!!The hollyhocks in this country yard were so pretty, I had to take a photo of them!!

These were in the "free" box! Don't you think the little white and grey one would go perfectly in my home? (hubby did NOT agree!)

For those not familiar with the World's Longest Yard Sale, it runs from Michigan down through Alabama along Route 127. It is a junk lover's paradise!! We concentrated our efforts in Kentucky and our home state of Ohio this year. I am blessed that my husband like yard sales and junk-hunting too (even if he doesn't share my love of cats ;) We have so much fun together.
Next Post: The Pretties!!

Here is the "something pretty" I promised to show you.....

A vintage rose litho from 1902.... I walked into my favorite vintage "shabby shoppe", and there it was!! Just waiting for me! Amy said she had just brought it into the shoppe a mere hour before. We both declared it was "meant to be"! Love what it says at along the bottom..... Wonder if that applies to a Princess too? ;)

I'll be having sweet dreams with those pretty roses nearby.....
Wishing you all lovely dreams as well! :)

Wattup?
How's your weekend going?
Mine is busy but good. Brad's (youngest's) band had a gig last night (don't I sound so hip saying that? ;) that lasted into the wee hours. Always a fun time.
Mowed "the meadow" today. Whew! Now it's time to make some 'bsketti for supper and perhaps relax a bit with hubby......
I'll have something pretty to show you next post!! :)
P.S. Found this cream tank top with crochet lace and pearl edging at Goodwill! Just my style!!

Remember Me? The junk-lovin' girl who can't resist a pretty pink cup like this? :)
Or a vintage jewelry box like this?
Especially when the inside is this gorgeous color!
Similar to the color of this Eames-era chair I picked up for FIVE dollars!! :)
YAY!
These were all from a garage sale that my mom found for us..... She bought a beautiful antique wicker rocker. I will try to get a picture for you soon!
Thanks for stopping by, hope you are having a great week!!

~Estate Sale Goodies~
My mom and I went to a local estate sale Thursday. At first, I thought everything was overpriced (in the house), but when I went out to the garage, I found some vintage goodies that were more in my price range.....
Such as this vintage wallpaper-covered box with drawers. I have wanted one of these "4-ev-uh"!! Finally I have one!!

Also this old sewing box, still filled with notions. The inside is a bit musty smelling and dirty, but I'm sure I can freshen it up!

Sweet little band of old flowers.

A vintage wastebasket with a bluebird on it! Oh my!! Also needs a (very) good cleaning, but..... !!!!!

My mom found a cute little rabbit for her garden..... my mom is not into vintage/shabby/chippy/rusty like I am, so we shop well together! (well, except for her wondering, sometimes outloud, "What on earth do you want THAT old thing for?" LOL! )

Hope you have a great weekend!!

~Pretty Dishes~ I bought these dishes at Goodwill to put as edging/planters in my Enchanted Garden......
They looked so pretty just stacked together, that I had to snap some pics of them first!

Pretty dishes make me smile :)
What is making you smile today??
