Come Sit and Dream...... of travelling to a beautiful place where pink roses are growing.......... and, amidst their sweet fragrance, a lovely white cutwork cloth is spread, on which to stretch out your weary body among this floral sea of beauty ..... and where there is time -- glorious unhurried, unscheduled moments -- to imagine and to simply be.

*Pink Roses* I recently purchased this little plaque of peachy pink roses from eBay. I am just delighted with it and placed it on the mantel for its 'photo session'. :)

May Mantel of the Month

A closeup of a couple more of the May cuties....
The only one that doesn't have wings is the first one I obtained, and she graced the top of my 13th birthday cake -- therefore, it is the most special one to me..... she is similar to the one on the left here, except for the wings, and instead of the word "May" she has an emerald birthstone.

I have a small collection of May angels. I decided to feature them in my May mantel of the month, along with other items in their coral pink and aqua color palette......
