"B" is for Birthday Blessings.....
My mom gave me some birthday money, and I had fun finding some pretties with it, such as this rose file folder......
...... which had stationery and stickers inside it too!
A rose wreath for the front door ~ I just painted our front door and trim last weekend ~ it is "Cranberry".

The "B" is actually for Becca of course, and it is a pretty pink vintage embroidered scarf, shown here with a Jasmine candle that I also purchased with my birthday loot! :)

And look what arrived today ~ my Mother's Day gift from dh! English roses to plant by the fence!
I like how the box is even prettily adorned with drawings of roses!!
(not that I like roses ;)
Thanks for stopping by!!

What's this?
Oh hello, little bunny ~ you are pretending to be a garden statue ~
My knockout roses are living up to their name.....
What's blooming at your place?

My Vintage Finds from the Weekend ......
Mustache cup....

Daily bread plate ~ I think this makes #4 in my collection.....
Rewards of Merit certificates from the 1800's....

I didn't realize how much holiday stuff I bought until I got it home..... sweet vintage Easter goodies for next year.........and some shabby Christmas goodies too, of course!

Here is the find of the day.....

This shabby old desk.
Needs some TLC, but I couldn't leave it behind!! The floral part opens up to reveal little slots and drawers..... too charming! I can hardly wait to bring it inside and fill it with pretty envelopes, cards, pens and stamps!!

Thanks for stopping by to see what I found! :)

Ooooooo, look at this beautiful child's wash stand I saw at the antiques extravaganza yesterday! Isn't it adorable? And that color!! Since I didn't have $135 to spend on it; I decided a picture of this beauty would have to do!!
Here is one of the shabby booths!
Pretty pottery in shades of cream and green!
And some in pastels, in whimsical forms!
This is the one that got away .... the pale aqua one on the left. I approached this vendor's stall just behind another woman who spotted it seconds before me. I politely stood back while she inspected it and weighed her decision -- I was at the ready to zoom in if she decided against it. But alas, who could refuse this treasure for a mere $10? Not her. Sigh.
I did manage to come home with some really sweet treasures, which I will share in my next post.
How was your weekend? :)

Hope you all had a lovely Mother's Day weekend.
These are the flowers my oldest brought me.Brad gave me a gift card to Bath&Body Works.
Oh, and we had Midnight Delight ice cream cake from Coldstone Creamery.
With pink writing, of course.
There are even two slices left. Would you like some? It's yummy!!
