Now displayed in our dining room, I found this on a shopping excursion with a friend yesterday. I have been eyeing these on eBay for over a year now, but they always go too high. I spotted this reproduction, which was much less expensive, so I *had to* have it! :)

After the recent red and green pictures, I thought you might like to see a picture of this year's decor in our living room, in softer pinks and creams with a Victorian flair. (I *merged* two pictures together to get the panoramic view).....

I also collect vintage Santas, and I especially like the ones that include Mrs. Claus!

A closeup of my snowman tree from last year. I collect snowmen, particularly vintage. This was in the dining room, which is decorated in pinks & creams this year, so the snowmen will displayed elsewhere.

Our Bedroom at Christmas

I've been feeling a little under-the-weather, so haven't added any more decor the past couple of days. So, I thought you might enjoy seeing this picture of our bedroom from a couple Christmases ago!

I am in the process of decorating the living room, this is the base of our 9-foot tree. I'm still "tweaking", but I'll keep sharing pictures anyway! :)

Last year, I decided I *needed* yet another tree -- this little angel tree with decorations of gold and green. It will go in the living room this year, as the theme there will be Victorian.

This is the very first piece that I painted for my Christmas village. Kind of what started it all, and how appropriate that it is a church. :)

Mrs. Claus Sweet Shoppe

One of the pieces I painted for my Christmas village. I especially like this one because it's pink! And the two ladies walking through the snow were a gift from my mom -- perhaps it represents the two of us; we love to shop together!

This pilgrim couple is currently residing on top of our entertainment center in the family room. Their stay will be somewhat brief, however, as I have already begun transforming our home into a Christmas wonderland! Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I hope to post at least one Christmas picture of our home each day.

My transferware plates. They are reproductions, but I was thrilled to find them just the same! I have enjoyed setting the dining room table with these plates for autumn, and especially so now that it's November!!

I've had this vintage print for awhile, but was never quite sure where to display it. Yesterday, I decided it might look nice nestled into my china hutch top display.
I think it is quite at home there!
