Yard Work
Planting some pink impatiens in the Enchanted Garden today..... have my pink bottle of mint iced tea on hand as well.
My work area, as I'm trying to re-tame the garden.... it was overgrown due to all the rain we've been having.

I was all set to go out to work, when Izzy thought she had a better idea. If only I could, Izzy..... maybe tonight!

Free Flowers Andrew and his gf came over for supper tonight, so I ran out into the yard and cut some flowers to brighten up the dining room a bit.

Dianthus....honeysuckle and lilacs.... Hope you are having a lovely weekend!

Vintage Linens Went to some city yard sales Saturday with Mom and my oldest Andrew.... I found some vintage linens!
The lady who was selling them commented that this pillowcase (above) will look so pretty when starched. Um.... hello? Starched? Yes I will wash it, but its soft shabby feel is what I love about it!

It's Lilac Time!

Beautiful fragrant lilacs, cut fresh from the lilac bush we planted by our house......

It has grown so much in the eight years we've been here. It was supposed to be yellow, but it's a pinkish lavender, and I don't mind one bit! That's our bedroom window on the top level (with the lace curtains)... how heavenly to smell the sweet perfume of the lilacs wafting through our bedroom!
