Lace Jewelry Holder

I made this framed lace jewelry holder to hold my post earrings.  I was inspired by an idea I saw on Pinterest.

Makeover

I needed a display for my jewelry, so I bought a shelf at Goodwill, an old dollar print at a sale, and painted them both ...

I used an old grater for my dangly earrings.  And of course, every princess needs a tiara!

My collection of "May" angels.  My maiden name is May, and my birth month is May, so this is my favorite month...

 The above is my very first May figurine, she graced the top of my 13th Birthday cake.  Technically she isn't an angel, as she never had a halo or wings, but she is by far the most special to me.

 I hope that the month of May brings you as much happiness as my May angels bring to me.

~Vintage Motto Mugs~ Among my many collections are my vintage motto mugs. I display them in our dining room on a little shelf I made over by painting white.

Sometimes they are a present from friends, such as the one below, which is my latest acquisition. A friend gifted me with it because I fell in love with the sweet graphics of the little girl. . Perhaps the next time you see a vintage motto mug you will *Think of Me* and smile. :)

Time is flying along..... What a mild winter we've had too! I caught the sickies that everyone seems to have had; was down for a good two weeks. There is always a renewed appreciation for feeling good after that!!
