Well, they aren't bluebirds, and there are no roses in this picture, but aren't they beautiful? These are golden finches that come to visit our feeder. We can see them feasting from our kitchen window! When I took this photo, there was quite a flurry of activity; there were several waiting in the bushes to trade places with these fellows!

Such pretty birds and they have such a cheery song
We just saw a Gold Finch at our feeder for the first time this Spring a few days ago. It is so exciting to see them return!
