I'm Dreaming of a Vintage Christmas...............

Just like the ones I used to know.....

Ah, look at this angel I bought Friday. She was in a local "junk" shoppe. I have looked at her every time I've been in that store for months. Friday, I decided to buy her, and what a nice surprise when the gentleman at the counter said "she's half-off today."
I also couldn't resist these old white reindeer -- so shabby sweet! And the vintage silver tinsel! You can also see the little elves on the left, and legs to a Santa "pick" I bought too! These lights aren't exactly intact on the inside, but I loved the faded image on the front of the box! These old mica houses are so charming, especially the ones in pink!

And a pink bottle brush tree to go with it.....One can never have too many shabby ornaments, can they?
Some blue Christmas picks, and this sweet little angel bell -- on the back it says "In Swedish We Say Merry Christmas." So I assume the words on front mean Merry Christmas!! Too cute!!

Are you having a nice weekend? I AM!! :)

What gorgeous Vintage Christmas decorations you have there. It was your lucky day to get the angel for half price. All so sweet and shabby.

What a special angel!! Obviously your patience paid off. I have some of those ornaments from auctions we have gone to, . I have noticed the things we could get for a dollar a lot are starting go a lttle higher now that Christmas is getting into people's minds.

You find the nicest pretties!

Take care.

These sure do bring back memories! I used to have some little white reindeer similar to these you have. I adore your little angel and am thrilled she was half off for you. :o) Everything is lovely. I'm so happy that some of the stores are selling reproduction vintage ornaments. I was at Michael's craft store recently and there were a lot of replicas in there. I hope to purchase some soon. Blessings!

I actually put an old box lid in my cart at Salvation Army last week because it has this cute little retro picture and says "Cinderella of Boston". I got it free - YAY. Though I haven't found nearly as many pretty old ornaments as you have. Blessings... Polly

I love all of it! I actually have most of it myself! I don't have the angel you just purchased or the angel bell, but I have the other things. It is so nice to meet someone who loves the same things! Sometimes people just don't get it when I lunge for one of the old vintage items....but man, they talk to me and I just have to get them! I am really cheap though, and only buy at great prices. Do you have any strands of glass beads? I love them, they are sooooo pretty!

Hugs! Sharon

I love all your vintage pretties, and I was surprised to see that we both have the same Noma light box...except there were no lights in the box I found!!

You have such a great eye!!

All beautiful keepsakes. My grandsons and I found some vintage reindeer four years ago. The boys loved them and one day they will be theirs. Thank you for sharing all these beautiful decorations.
