Beginnings.....

In our secret garden, I have planted some impatiens in one of those "hanging basket bags" that I had leftover from last year. It will take awhile to be full and pretty, but I kind of like it now too, as it hangs on a rusty old fencepost above other vintage garden elements.

You might remember this old chair I got at auction for free....... the vintage metal bucket belonged to my uncle ~ more impatiens getting their start, along with some purple torenia ~ I painted the sign on an old board, to designate the way to our path through the woods......

Hi becca,
Everything looks real nice, Its that time of year when the ideas get out of hand. LOVE IT! I have been getting all kinds of good stuff at the thrift and I was at my first garage sale of the season yesterday. Like you I have been putting flowers everywhere. Its fun isn't it to put them in all kinds of odd places and in different pots.
How cute they all look in their prom outfits!
