My mom and I spent the afternoon together ~ eating at our favorite cafe, shopping our favorite antique shoppes...... this is what I bought. I have been keeping my eye out for these. They are reproductions ~~ from 1976 and 1977, so not actually vintage, but pretty just the same. I have a small collection of vintage talcs in my bathroom that I will share in a future post.
~Thanks for visiting~

What a lovely blog you have. So beautiful. Your vintage talc containers are just lovely. Thank you for visiting my blog today. Please stop by again any time! Amy :)
Very nice! I didn't realize you were collecting those. I will have to keep an eye out.
I was lucky enough to win a blog giveaway from Sweet Eye Candy that included this aqua tin! I really wanted one for my bathroom - it has the box, too! And, of course I live in the state. :)
Very elegant and pretty. The woman of old had such pretty things didn't they?
I love those California Tins and perfume bottles. I have been thinking of collecting them for some time now. I am soooo glad to see you found some for your own. Also, I noticed you LOVE Mitford books, too. Oh - I just love Father Tim!
What a wonderful afternoon you had. Such a blessing to be able to spend special moments with your mom like antiquing and eating at your favorite cafe together.
Patricia :o)
Becca, I love your reproductions of talc and the box too. They are so pretty, and since you are keeping them for yourself they are perfect to add to your collection. Can't wait to see the rest of your collection.

I've always been drawn to these vintage containers. The designs are so yummy. Whoever created these design patterns knew what they were doing!

I love those. It reminds me of my Grandmother she loved bath powder....Mary
Oh, they're lovely!...whatever their age.
Kimberly :)
What a nice day you enjoyed with your mom. These powders are so pretty...I think they'll be a nice addition to your collection. Hugs, Lidna
They might be retro mid-'70s but they look like they're channeling turn of the century! Gorgeous!
Oh Becca, I love these! Especially the blue one. Are they reproductions of 70's versions, or are the 70's versions reproductions? Does my question make any sense at all? LOL I'd love to see them displayed.
Hugs,
Lallee
