Hello!!
When I shared our bathroom photos recently, many of you commented on the vintage talc display above the window, so today I thought I'd share some close-ups of my vintage talc collection.
I really like the way they made the containers so pretty. This one above, with the brighter roses, is one of my favorites. It reminds me of old seed packets.
Although these are for display only, I also have quite a few "new" bath&body products. I have joked that I could open my own bath&body shop with all the gels, powders and lotions I have; I just love *smell-goody* things!
Thanks for stopping by; hope you are having a lovely week! :)
P.S. Thanks for all the nice comments on my little bird's nest painting in the last post; I am happy to share that it sold and is now on its way to its new home!

Hope you have all you need...I am off to ebay to snag some of these vintage goodies. :-)
Someone once gave me a pretty smelling soap when I use to work (before babies) and it smelt so good I kept it at my desk to smell when it got very stressful
(vet hospital).

Well next time I find one at an Estate Sale I know who to send it to. You sure have a great collection.

What a beautiful collection!! They're all SO pretty and unique!
Cashmere Bouquet? I remember my grandmother used to have this in her bathroom! I used to love to check out he bathroom shelves. She of course thought I was just a nosy kid. Even then I was drawn to all the pretty colors and floral decoration on the all the lovely bottles and lotions. When she passed many many years ago, I managed to keep one small perfume bottle. Looking at your lovely collection I am nostalgic thinking of her. Thank you for sharing!
Becca,
I love your sweet collection of vintage powder tins. I will be on the look out for some.
Have a great a day!

Yes, a very nice collection!! Thanks for the look see!
I really love pretty smelling things for the bath too. I have quite a collection, but I don't have any vintage bath containers. Yours are just so girly and lovely. They really add that special touch to your beautiful bathroom. Amy
I remember my Grandmother getting ready for her Lodge Meeting in her pure white dress ... She then took out a powder puff & lightly dusted her neck & clevage. She always said "a lady should never reek of perfume". How true!!
I Love the powder containers!!
Love,
Marilyn
They WERE so pretty! I well remember some of these in my bathroom growing up!
My Grandmother always used talc..had the sweetest pink puff that she sprinkled it on and ligtly dusted herself and her undergarments. Thanks for the sweet memory.
Love,
Sue

Oh lord, I think I might have to start another new collection after seeing your pretty collection of vintage talcs. What a great collection Becca and I love how you display them in your bathroom.
Hi Becca, You know for years I have seen such cute talcs and just didn't know where to put them! Dah! Why didn't I think of the bath?? My poor bath is such a thorn in my side in a million ways and hubby is just like get over it! Guess I'll tackle it one day myself! If it wasn't for the overly priced, and crappy made wallpaper it would be more of a disaster! Sending love, Lori
Your collection is beautiful!
I LOVE the wild rose one~GORGEOUS!!

Your talc containers are so pretty and vintage quaint. I love them! This past year I found a can of Mitcham Lavender talc --- and I love the fragrance! It's nearly full --- what a delight!
