Have you seen this new magazine, Flea Market Gardens? It's the Premier Issue!

I'm only showing the cover here, I don't want to infringe upon any copyrights of photos, but trust me when I say it is full of beautifully-photographed gardens!
I love using found treasures in my garden, do you?

Here is an old gate I bought at auction, home to a PINK birdie and her nest in the enchanted garden!

This chair is also from an auction; the old pail belonged to my Uncle Bill.

Old china plates and cups are at home in the garden as well. This rusty fence post was already in place when we put up the picket fence, so seemed a perfect hanger for some impatiens.

A vintage birdcage houses more impatiens, and a birdie too of course!
An old cider press, found at a yard sale, is spilling with vining flowers.

Of course, these photos of my gardens are from previous years, the snow has just now melted here (and probably more to come), but it's fun to plan and dream, especially with a beautiful magazine like this one to inspire!

P.S. I love Love LOVE this idea on the magazine cover, of planting flowers in the drawers of an old dresser! I can't wait to try this in my own garden!!

No, I haven't seen it yet! And it looks like it must be a Harris Publication, that is good news...

I've planted in a dresser before, it looks good for a short period of time, then the wood rots. At least in this part of the country. But is really pretty while it lasts.

Now this is the kind of gardening I could do, since my heart attack. I am getting depressed just being cooped up in the house. I had a chair planted once but it finally took the elements and fell apart after 12 long years. I also lked the idea of planint in an old suitcase. Lovely ideas. Hugs, Pat
