My mom and I had a girls afternoon out Thursday. This is our therapy! :) We are surrounded by boys, I am her only daughter, and she has five grandsons, including my two boys! We love them all dearly, but sometimes, girls just "gotta" be girls! We went to our favorite cafe and had spinach quiche, fresh baked bread, fruit, and mint iced tea. Then onto my favorite shoppe for a little retail therapy. I had looked at these two pretty plates on prior visits to the shoppe, so it was time to bring them home with me. They, along with the two vintage postcards, are in the pretty vintage colors I love (and with ROSES!) Bonus ~ when I went to pay for them, my sweet momma surprised me and bought them for me! :)

Hi Becca, so pretty. I love the postcards, they would def come home with me. So nice you get to have a girls afternoon, I can imagine how it is much needed, take care, Tam x
The plates are sooo pretty! The colors are unusual for plates like that. I don't blame you for wanting them and the postcards, too. And what a sweet momma to pick up the tab!
Girls afternoon, what's that? I can totally relate. So nice, Becky! And that doesn't surprise me about your amazing momma!
Sounds like a PERFECT mother-daughter outing! You found such beautiful plates and postcards.
