The vintage bluebird postcard was a gift from a dear friend who knows I adore bluebirds!
I did something fun with this birdcage for Christmas last year........ those who didn't see it will get a chance soon!

I remember the birdcage! Beautiful fall weather into Thanksgiving and then the blessing of Christmas! One of my favorite things is seeing your pretty pastel Christmas decor.

Our official "family bird" is the robin. Since our children we small (and our daughter is now nearly thirty), we had a contest each Spring to see who saw the first robin of the season.
There were no real prizes except bragging rights for the remainder of the year.
