World's Longest Yard Sale

Well, we did it! We finally made it to the World's Longest Yard Sale! This has been a dream of ours for several years ~ some dream of exotic destinations, we dream of hitting the road, hauling the camper along, and filling it full of fabulous finds!

I will be sharing pics of those finds with you this week!

The top picture is from one of the stops...... not everyone had their wares displayed in such a pretty fashion, but since I'm a linen collector, I took a pic of these that were! I didn't buy any at this booth, but here's one I did buy! It's a little towel, and I will either turn it into a laundry bag, clothespin holder, ironing board cover..... or just hang it over my ironing board looking cute like it is!

A couple of old tins I found, along with some vintage aqua cording.

A closeup of the oval tin....

We travelled Ohio and Kentucky, though the sale also goes through TN and AL. There was plenty to see in just those two states. More pics to come! :)

My husband and I were just talking about doing the same thing some day! I can't wait to hear all about it! Was traffic terrible?

Becca, what a dream come true to go to the Longest Yard Sale, congrats!
Can't wait to see your haul! How cute to use the kitty's ironing day on your ironing board. I have an old wooden board, may have to steal, I mean incorporated that idea at my house. :) Now get to posting photos you know we hate to wait!

Hi Becca! Cannot wait to see what other goodies you got! I have been wanting to go to that for quite sometime, after first seeing it on HGTV. I'm afraid I'd spend all of my money at one stop. LOL.
Thanks for the kudos on my pillow. xoxo, Becky

Yea!!!! You found some treasure. Wasn't the heat unbearable though???? I could hardly stand it to be honest. It made me feel sick. :-(
