YAY for Bluebirds!!

The top photo is one of my "days of the week" towels that I found on eBay. I've been wanting a set of these for years. I have this hanging on an old metal cabinet in our kitchen, and I try to remember to change them out each day.
And speaking of bluebirds, I wanted to share with you something special I received in the mail this week....

My bloggy friend Rosemary sent me this adorable bluebird card........ she was shopping at the Rose Bowl Flea Market when she spotted this little beauty and thought of me! And then she bought it and sent it to me!!
Isn't it cute? And it's never even been used. Here's a peek at the inside.
Thank you, Rosemary, your kindness has brought me "bluebirds of happiness"!! :)

Hope everyone is having a good week!!

Ah, that Rosemary-- she's a sweetie! Sounds just like something she'd do!

I can see why you needed to have the tea towel, too. I don't often see bluebirds (or any birds) on linens from that era. A lot of flowers and baskets, but birds are a rarity. I bet they look lovely in your kitchen.

Thank you for your dear comment on my blog. I am glad I found you and your blog and your Etsy shop. Let me know when you list some Easter Tags. I especially like bunnies and chicks. Your tags are beautiful Also you might want to find a vintage towel rack like I have that holds all your towels. I have a set of days of the week towels displayed on mine. I have cats but I love love love your bluebirds. I will take a photo and put it on my blog for you to see. You can look under towel or drying rack on Ebay for one like mine.
May all your wishes come true.Pat

What a charming card. Isn't Rosemary just the sweetest thing ever?

By the way, thank you for your comment on my blog. The interior of that home was a little more contemporary, and not as "cottagey" as the exterior. Still cute, nonetheless.

I love bluebirds too - have a couple of pairs in the garden each Summer but they've never nested in the special box I hung for them!

This is such a sweet card - and from a sweet lady!

Enjoy the weekend.
Mary.

Hi Becca,
I was thinking about you today at the thrift store because most of the stuff I got was things you would want. So Take a look when you have time.
