Nikki Doll
When I received Nikki's name as my Secret Santa recipient, I decided to make something special for her.....A doll created from a photograph of her..... Nikki is quite photogenic, so I had several photos to choose from that would work well for my project.... I made the photo "sepia-toned" to give it a vintage effect.

I too love the doll you made, so pretty!!
You did a beautiful job with this. And you had such a perfect model for the creation.
Becca, that was the most creative idea and what a treasured keepsake to have from a friend. You did a wonderful job and the holding up the skirt is the sweetest. It does look exactly like she is holding it up. Can't wait to see the rest!
What a beautiful doll, very unique!

OMG Becca! This is gorgeous! You should definitely submit this to one of the "Somerset" publications! I've seen this style in their issues but this one is beautiful and makes some sense! You did an excellent job! Of course it does help that she is a pretty lady too! Have a great weekend - Sincerely, Jeannette

Hi Becca,
Thank you for your kind comment an entering my giveaway.
I'm so glad I followed your link back to your blog--goodness this makes a person (who adores vintage) drool all over herself, your finds!!! I could browse your blog all day. That doll is super cool too, gives lots of ides. Happy searching and wishing you much peace, M.
Wow! I really like this piece you have done, your friend is not only photogenic but very beautiful. I like the lace dress and the head piece. Your blog is beautiful and I can spend hours just looking at all your finds you have purchased. We have the same taste!
