Romantic Finds at Goodwill

Don't know why, but I'm always on the lookout for vintage butter pats....

This sweet little box is from Lerner...... Does Lerner still exist? When I was a teenager, it was a treat to get clothes from Lerner. In Junior's size 7 or 9. Ah yes, those were the days.

This wedding cake topper isn't really "vintage"; it's from the 80's, but will be fun to remake into something "Valentine-y" because of the heart arch above them. I like how she looks a little shy. :)

The lace panels in the background also came from Goodwill. There are four of them, and they are kind of short ~ perfect for tucking in the edge of a chair or table. (They'd also look pretty in our camper windows, but I somehow don't think Chris would agree!! :)

Look at those great thrift store finds. The wedding topper is wonderful. I used to work at Lerners...in the 80's!

Becca, what wonderful treasures you found at the Goodwill store. It's amazing the things that some people are lucky enough to find. I guess that old saying "One person's trash is another person's treasure" sure is true...

Becca,
You got some neat things at the thrift store! That is my favorite hobby...going to thrift stores! I have to take down all my hristmas too. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one with it still out. I love Christmas and I hate to pack it all up.

Memory lane! My first-ever gown came from Lerner's. It was white with a pink and white lace overlay; empire waist with a pink ribbon that tied in front; scoop neck and short, sheer sleeves. I haven't unpacked it in years, but I still have it. And yes, mine was a size 7 or 9 back then as well. . .those were the days!
