You all remember Dottie...... here's a pic of Brad with her from last year (his hair was wet)..... see her shirt, it says "I'm With the Band". Anyhoo, Dottie is in quite the disarray right now and needs some major intervention, but that's another story. Suffice it to say that she didn't fare too well during a ride in the country -- in a shopping cart.
What I want to share today is this..... My husband and I had lunch with Brad this afternoon after his college classes -- he will graduate H.S. this year, but is actually taking his first year of college since he finished all his H.S. classes early -- level-headed boy, that one.... or so we thought -- So he tells us at lunch that he has an idea to "take a year of college" next year and work full time at the restaurant. Caught off-guard, we quickly (and amazingly calmly) tell him why this is not a good idea. To which he grins and says "April Fools!!!!!". What a stinker!!
I've been going through old photos for his grad. celebration, and here he is on his first day of "Thursday School" at the ripe old age of three with his little bookbag and his Thomas lunchbox. Where did those years go? Wasn't that only yesterday?

Becca, what a cute little guy!! Where do the years go? You have a terrific son there.
I tried real hard to remember it was April Fools this morning so I could be on guard. Looks like Brad got you real good ;-)
Poor Dottie. I wondered where she's been lately.
I forgot to say what a cutie Brad is in that photo.
Hi Becca, love the pink velvet roses. That is so funny, Brad catching you that way. Kids! Hope you are feeling much better.
Hugs, Coll :-}
LOL he tricked you! He does sound like a level headed boy!

LOl! Well, he has to keep you on your toes!
PS - loving your new banner!
I agree with the "Where did those years go?" I swear the days crawl by but the weeks fly! My kids seem to be bustin' out of everything all of a sudden! Must be spring! I recently realized how short our time together is now, and although it makes me happy to know what wonserful people they are becoming, it makes me sad that all those days are gone.
You had me going for a minute Becca.
Very cute pictures!

Hi Becca
Isn't it funny we had similar posts on our blogs at the same time! I think the first photo of Ellie was taken at Kinder, she would have also been about three!
It's always great to get out the old pictures and step back in time!! Boy do they grow so fast!!
Youve got a gorgeous blog!! I will be back for sure!

My granddaughter put on the dress I made for my daughter to wear for school pictures, in kindergarten. Where has time gone?
I did a large tri fold memory board for my sons graduation party, it was a big hit, my son won't let me take it apart even after 4 years, LOL They do grow so fast!

Oh, he is a hunk! With a mischeivious smile, I can see it in his face, that this probably wasn't his first April Fools joke!

I wanted to say, oh about 30 years ago I wanted to paint a ship for my husbands boss, in oils...that I the ship...We got the picture back after he passed away...I'll go take a picture and email it to you.
