It's February!! Little touches of Valentine's are sneaking their way into my kitchen.....

And, of course, in Ohio February means snow........
Here's Brad posing (aka sliding) on the hood of his car.....

Really, it seemed like a good idea at the time, didn't it, Brad?

P.S. I'm glad you all enjoyed my flea market finds from the last post! In answer to your questions, yes, my hubby did find some things ~~ sci fi-type DVDs ~~ so he was a happy camper too!!
There was a lot of interest in the cutout mug ~ I believe that it's a shaving mug. The little part at the top has several holes in it (where the shaving soap would go ~ the water would go in the bottom part). I think it will look cute in the bathroom where I have a couple of other old shaving mugs!

As always, your home looks sooo vintagey and sweet. Love the valentines! I'm wishing for some of that snow, but probably wouldn't know what to do with it! How do you move your car with all that snow in front of it???

Holy cow y'all got a lot of snow! Brad is too funny... he could put Dottie out there as if she "froze solid"...snort...

The Valentines and doilies are so cute. I've been in the mood this week too.

Those shaving mugs can be quite the collector's items. The ones I want on ebay always go too high. I only have three, but none with the neat shape of yours.

Brad looks like he's having fun!

Thanks for answering the questions about the shaving mug. Now it makes sense (seeing the top). Very nice find!

Those valentines are sooo pretty!

That's a lot of snow! Did you and Brad make a snowman?

The shaving mug is very unique, I have my dad's, but it is rather plain.

Hi Becca,

I love all your sweet valentine pretties. I am sadly lacking in valentine pretties of my own. Maybe I will need to visit a few antique/thrift stores next weekend to see if I can start another new collection. That's always a fun thing to do.. Have a great week!!!
