~Roses from My Garden~ For many years, I have wanted to grow my own rose garden, so that I might have fresh roses to adorn our home.....
That desire has been realized this summer, as we planted ten rose bushes in the side yard......
This afternoon, I took my first cuttings from them and brought them inside.

I added some Queen Anne's lace that grows abundantly here in the country.....
Hope you enjoyed seeing my rose bouqet! Have a lovely week!
:)

Hi Becca....Your roses are doing wonderfully for this late in the season! My roses only get a few blooms right now...very few and far between. I had a terrible time with japanese beetle too this year. I wish you continued success!~Hugs, Patti

Becca!
Wow, you weren't kidding there are wonderful! A few years back I planted five new bushes, I uncovered them to early in Spring, gone! The cream are fabulous, are they fragrant and if so like what, a rose scent or other? What direction do your roses face? Mine last week were on a new bloom cycle, very vigorous! Did you get hit with alot of rain? We had over four inches, just last week. They are now concerned the pumpkin crops my rot out! Standing field water. By any chance did I ask you about the tag yet? Also have you ever tried to grow any Queen Anne lace? I wonder if you can, I know the roots are carrot like and deep. I wonder if it would be possible to control? I'll have to pick up a bunch this week, I think the rain stopped! Finally! Take care and sincerely thank you for supporting my recent post, It means the world to me! Love,Lori

Oh so lovely!I have a rose garden as well.I was reluctant a few years back to stat one because they say roses are touchy. My God they are easy to care for and they look beautiful.I will try to get a bouquet from mine, darn i dont have babys breathe though.I love that it gives it a little bit more of a dainty look.
