~Vintage Cottage Canisters~

Hollyhocks along the pathway....

My latest find ~ from The World's Longest Yard Sale!! We have spent the last three days travelling Route 127 in Ohio and Kentucky, scooping up pretty treasures like these! I'll be sharing my finds over the next few days.
These canisters are the last thing I bought before we headed back home yesterday.
I was really glad I had enough money left to buy these; I would have regretted leaving them behind! They will go perfectly in my cottage kitchen!
Come back and visit soon to read more about the sale and see more goodies!

Hi Becca,
I would have been heartbroke for you if you would have had to leave these behind too. They will be so cute in your cottage. I love the paiting of the sweet hollyhock strewn pathway.
Smiles,
June

Those are soo pretty! Ya know there is a vintage embroidery pattern that matches those. I've only seen it completed, not as a transfer tho. I am so jealous. You need to e-mail me all the yard sale scoops!!

I have never seen such adorable canisters! I love hollyhocks, although mine didn't do very well this year in the back yard. I need to gather more seed from friends and family and plant some more. They are like THE vintage flower, don't you think! I used to play with the old petals when I was a kid. They always bring back fond memories when I see them.

I have so enjoyed seeing all your goodies! I have done bits and pieces of the 127 sale many times. My folks lived, for 27 years, in Crossville, TN. 127 runs right through it so you can imagine the booths and dealers lined up in their town! I am glad you had such fun....: )
Love,
Sue
