AMY
Just want to give a special hello today to my friend Amy of Four Sisters in a Cottage. I think most of you are probably familiar with dear Amy, but if not, please read her story on her blog. Amy is one of the most special people I *know*. I first got to know Amy when I made a purchase from her lovely shoppe. I could tell right away what a sweet and kind person she is.
Vintage pages from a children's book, and she made sure the page is the bluebird one. It says "A bluebird is a pretty bird." Isn't that the sweetest thing?
She also included a vintage Valentine that features bluebirds!
Recently, I won a gift certificate to Amy's Shoppe. With all she's going through with beating this cancer, she is still thinking of giving to others. Amy knows I like to craft/create, so she offered to make up a special "goodie box" for me to use my certificate. Well, it arrived the other day, and it was CHOCK-FULL of wonderful treasures!! That's just the kind of generous and thoughtful person Amy is. Here are some of the goodies:

And these cute little Christmas girls in pink and cream....... which will definitely be featured in my home this Christmas! Also some beautiful old rose prints!
Here is the bride doll that was one of my first purchases from Amy........ And this beautiful vintage cloth on the library table (under the photos) I discovered in Amy's shoppe as well.
It's a blessing to have blogging friends like Amy, to share common interests with -- her shoppe is among my favorites, and it's always a fun day when she announces she's added new goodies there (which I hear will be soon -- I can hardly wait)!

She's fun, talented, courageous, honest, inspiring...... It's truly a joy to know you, Amy! :)

Becca,
I am so happy you love everything and I just KNEW you had to have the Bird and Bluebird out of that old children's book. It just shouted your name when I saw it!!!
I cannot wait to get all of the pictures of my Hats For Amy posted on my blog for everyone to see. I wear several of them daily and 2 to 3 of them a night (I have hot flashes and end up soaking thru them so I switch them often....LOL)
THANK YOU so much for your kind heart, your continued prayers and your generous loving heart. YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE IN MY LIFE!!! The world is a BETTER PLACE because YOU ARE IN IT!!!!
