Shabby Chic Thrifting Treasures

Found at Goodwill over the weekend....... the Shabby Chic set is actually a twin duvet/pillow sham. Do I have a twin bed? No! Did that stop me from buying this? Nope! :) I figure, I can use the pillow sham on our bed, and do something neat with the pretty fabric, since it was a good price. The little rose plate was forty-nine cents. And look at this cute candleholder someone painted in the shabby chic style. It was $1.99....

The cutest thing about it is this little wooden tag they
painted and hung on it, declaring it a Tag Sale Treasure..... too sweet!!

Wow...I have that same little hand-painted tag from something I bought years ago. I think it was a decorative birdhouse (which I still have & I recently decided to paint it maybe robin's egg blue - it had hand painted roses & a shabby chic finish - but, I want to put little bluebird decals on it now)...anyway, those are my intials too, TAG. Small world isn't it?

Oh my! These are all lovely. I adore the candle holder with the little tag. How cute is that! I feel like I've been away for a month. I've missed seeing your pretty blog everyday. xoxo

You made out like a bandit on that trip - all so cute. I love RA's Shabby Chic bedding but have noticed Target has really cut back on it's selection - hope it's not being discontinued. Her sheets are really smooth - dh loves them and gets upset when I put others on the bed now! Know you will create something useful from the duvet cover - that's quite a lot of fabric to play with.

Good score at the thrift shop.

I've also want to compliment you on the photo's on your blog. They are absolutely beautiful. What kind of photo editing program do you use? I'm in the market for one and looking for suggestions.
